AI Art: Hybrid Portraits

While exploring the potential for AI generated art to support and uplift my own creative pursuits, I developed the concept of photo-bashing the elements created with pictures of people in order to make unique, concept art style portraits. Above: a process video showing how my Hybrid Portraits are made. Live Event Production

In 2012, I had just ended a long-term relationship and was barely able to keep myself housed and fed. I was living in Portland, OR at the time: home to a diverse array of subcultures and talents that I was eager to explore! Inspired by my time on the road, I came up with a plan to barter with the creators and producers that interested me - in exchange for free tickets I would give them observational drawings made by me, of the performances. The response was overwhelmingly positive, and for a couple of years I had access to some of Portland's most sought after shows and talented artists. During this time, I began developing an idea to organize live events that would bring together a diverse array of Portland's talent to one place for the general public to experience and enjoy. Professional Work

Storyboards have been my primary focus as a commercial artist because of their ability to combine my passions for storytelling with visual art. In 2004, I was hired as a Storyboard Revisionist on the Cartoon Network series " Codename: Kids Next Door ". It was a fun, educational experience that has opened many doors for me in the years since. I've been fortunate enough to work on a number of projects for many different studios - each one a unique experience that presented their own challenges and opportunities.
